An insight into the dining experience that has been created can be better understood whilst reading the ethos from our namesakes. Ashoka, popularly known as Ashoka the Great, was an Indian emperor who ruled almost all of the Indian subcontinent from 232 BC to 269 BC. One of India’s greatest emperors, he was later dedicated to the propagation of Buddhism across Asia. His name “Ashoka” means “painless, without sorrow” in Sanskrit.
At Ashoka we believe that Indian food should constantly evolve and adapt. Our kitchen prepares dishes combining Indian ingredients with local produce and Indian cooking techniques with a western twist.
Whether you’re planning a surprise celebration for a loved one, or you want to organise something special for friends and family.
Ashoka is the perfect celebratory place. We look forward to your visit.
